After hours – call Yaupon Service Center for non-injury roadside assistance – (910)278-6373

Please note that the renter is responsible for all charges unless there is a malfunction of the golf cart

If an accident happens:

Stop – Help or get help for injured people & warn motorists nearby

Call 911

Exchange contact and insurance information with the other driver

Write down the information:

  • Drivers name and address
  • Vehicle information and license plate number and state of issue
  • Insurance company name and policy number
  • Witnesses names and contact information
  • Passenger names
  • Location of accident

Take photographs of the vehicles involved

Contact your insurance company or agent

Cooperate fully with the police but consult with a professional before accepting blame

After an accident:

Report the accident to your insurance company

Report the accident to the Department of Motor Vehicles within 10 days if someone is

injured or killed or if damage to either vehicle is greater than $750

Make a claim with your insurance company and/or the other driver’s insurance company

to pay for your injuries and losses

Call or see your physician if you have any health concerns

Contact your insurance company if you are sued
